kamrie37 134 Posted June 24, 2012 I know that it happens, it is just so darn frustrating! I was sleeved on the 12th. I lost 10 pounds the first week. I haven't lost anything since 6/18. I hate it! I was so excited for those first 10 pounds. I have read a lot of info on here and know that it happens. It really does make me fearful that the weight loss won't happen. Why does our bodies have to go thru an adjustment period? Anyone out there stop losing early on then it picks up and you end up doing awesome?
pebbles99 10 Posted June 25, 2012 That's 10 lbs. in 12 days. I think that's great. The loss will happen, don't worry. In general, it is healthier to lose slower and I wouldn't mind it because then people will just think that I am naturally loosing the weight. I noticed on your profile your insurance approved after an appeal. If you don't mind me asking, please let me know about how long it took from submitted the original claim, to hearing it was denied and then the appeal to the approval. I am so worried I will be denied.
Thinner Peace 24 Posted June 25, 2012 I was sleeved on the 13th and I have lost only 6 pounds. I dont think it is realistic to lose 10 pounds a week. Rather, average out how much you lose per month because our body fluxuates. But I hear you, I thought I would have lost more but at least I havnt gained! 1 kamrie37 reacted to this
cmw10000 35 Posted June 25, 2012 I'm 4 months out and have lost 55 lbs..... It goes good for a couple of weeks and then it stops for a couple of weeks... such a journey.... just be patient .... stay true to your diet and it will happen.
