Last week I hit my 3 month post op mark. I'm down 64lbs and I can't believe it!! I have my rough days still and I'm just trying to do me - the best way I know how right now!

Last night I bought a pair of size 14 capris. I cried in the dressing room. The last time I wore this size was 8th grade - 16 years ago!!!!

Here are my 3 month pics. The back photo amazes me most!! Thanks for the support along the way. :)

You look great. I noticed all the above, but I also noticed the one thing that I notice on me, the feet, wow. I have had swollen feet and legs forever and have been on Water pills twice a day until surgery. Your feet were like mine, kind of square and swollen and now, look at all the definition. You can't even tell your feet are from the same person! I love looking at my little ankles and feet that aren't so square looking, because they constantly don't throb me, and I'm not constantly have to put them up because of swelling.

Also you look taller, longer, leaner and your face absolutely has changed completely, it opened up and you are so pretty.

Way to go!

I'm a little bit jealous that you lost over 60 lbs in 3 months - but you look good. I see that your feet have thinned down too.

Thanks everyone :). I have been walking quite a bit and am starting to train to run a 5k! I

Have not been going crazy with exercise as I have not had much energy until recently. B12 has changed my life!!

I also love my ankles - I was just talking about them today haha.

I didn't notice that much of a difference in my side view until someone pointed out that my back was missing from the photo!! Lol

I love my sleeve!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
