I've lost 42 pounds and am still wearing the same size band and cup 42 G but my bra was really tight before surgery, so they are fitting nicely now I spent a nice chunk of change last summer on four new Wachoal bras at Nordstrom. Had a bra fitting First bra I've ever bought that fit perfectly and was comfortable so it was worth the price. Then I gained more weight so the straps started cutting into my shoulders, etc. I did just buy the Genie Bra and got a size smaller than I am now so I can grow down into them. They are still slightly too small for me but I can tell they are going to be really comfortable.

This is a tip out there for anyone who shops LB, FB, Avenue, etc. When they have sales like buy one get one or buy two get two, they actually spread the discount out between all of the items purchased.

Example. Bras are $24.00 each and if b2g2 then they will price them each at $12.00 each. If you then returned two of what you bought you would get $24.00 back.

I say that because it is a way to plan ahead, but not get caught if it doesn't work. If you buy 4 and don't go down fast enough or go down too much, you can return the others and still get the benefit of the sale.

Personally, I am 2 months out and I have gone down from a 48DDD to a 42DDD so I have lost in the around sizing, but not the actual cup size.

Good Luck

I've lost 70 lbs in 3 months and I still wear the same size, 44 h. They just fit alot better. I can actually wear the balconette bras now from LB so I'm going to get some of them. I have shared the sale with my mother-in-law or my best friend before and will this time also. Can't beat buy two get two free!! Good luck!!!

I put a leopard balconette bra in my basket but I remember they fit a little weird but cant remember. What is your take on the balconette bras? I usually stick to full coverage so I dont get that double boob coming from the top. Btw there is a 20 percent off or 25 dollars off coupon code, I cant remember it now, but google it and it will come up. I also keep forgetting that I can just keep as much as I want to because I bought some on sale, and was able to return and still keep the same.. Duhhh, lol. Totally forgot.. I'll just order the four, and return two.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
