smartypants 14 Posted June 21, 2012 After a long journey of medical tests, visits with a psychologist and nutritionist my surgery has been scheduled for July 16, 2012. I still need to attend a pre-op class and see the surgeon a few days before the surgery. The date is coming up fast and I'm getting nervous and excited. I've had lots of surgeries in the past and pain relief wasn't an issue afterwards because I would just get a prescription for pain meds after I was discharged. But, how do you take Percocet or Vicodin pills after a sleeve? Can any one tell me what meds were prescribed for pain and how you got them into your new, tiny stomach? Lissa 2,631 Posted June 21, 2012 I was prescribed liquid Loritab for pain. My bottle is STILL sitting on my desk unopened after 9 months. I suppose I should do something with it....
emily_0192010 168 Posted June 21, 2012 I also had liquid loritab after my surgery. I used it only for a couple days after, and only once a day... Congrats on getting all your ducks in a row! I'll start warming up your seat on the loser's bench
