Amanda41 2 Posted June 21, 2012 Hello Everyone! I have a question for the experts out there:) I am having my sleeve 8/6/12 and had no real concerns until I read that women can experience a real emotional roller coaster after the weight loss begins. I already suffer from PMDD, am pre-menopausal and I am extremely worried about how I will feel emotionally after the surgery. I would appreciate any thoughts! 4ALongerLife 329 Posted June 21, 2012 It's totally worth the roller coaster ride. But yes, it's a bit of up and down with emotions for a while. Just repeat this mantra: "this too shall pass"... and I'll pray for you!
titania1215 9 Posted June 21, 2012 I am 3 1/2 months out and yes it does happen. This whole week I have been super emotional. I had a 3 week stall and then dropped 10 pds in 2weeks so I think that has a lot to do with it. It will pass I promise...and even with the emotional rollercoasters I am soooooo happy with my decision!!
