I was on Bariatric Advantage for about 3 weeks total, they aren't too bad. I've also tried Muscle Milk Light which isn't bad and the Kirkland shakes from costco.< /p>

MY FAVORITE - Best bang for your high Protein, low cal option is PREMIER ready to drink shakes. I get a case of 12 from Sams Club for about 18 dollars.

I LOVED the Cytosport RTD "whey isolate" drinks. They are a clear liquid, 32g of Protein in 16 oz with little else in it. It's a black wrapped clear bottle with white writing. I like tropical and tangerine. I swear they should pay me for always saying this. But those drinks are really good. It's 130 calories.

I couldn't tolerate Protein Shakes right after surgery, either. I'm almost 3 months out now and I can drink them again, YEA! I was trying to choke down those awful Protein Shots and they are ghastly! I usually use Premier (Costco, 30 gr. protein) and I've heard that the Muscle Milk is good, too.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
