Back~To~Amy 307 Posted June 20, 2012 So my day is finally here' date=' i scared as hell and cant wait for it to be over! Positive energy and thought for a speedy and not so painful recovery Surgery is at 10 and i have to be there at 8.[/quote'] Good luck today. I am sure you will do just great being nervous is completely normal If I can give you one word of advice it would be to not let your pain get out of control. The nurse got on to me because I was trying to be, as she called it, Superwoman. What I figured out is when my pain was adequately controlled, I felt so much better mentally. My pain was significant, but others have had hardly any at all. Whatever yours may be, keep it under control. I'm only 15 days out now and have absolutely zero regrets. Well, I do have 1 and that is that I wish I'd done it sooner. Check in with us when you feel up to it and let us know how you are doing!

O.T.R. sleever 3,386 Posted June 21, 2012 Anyone have only 1 day in the hospital? Most sleeves done in the US have very short hospital stays. Many have even reported being released same day as the surgury.
