LouiseC 1,031 Posted June 20, 2012 This question seems a bit stupid, and I think I know the answer, however I am not sure so need to check. In counting my fluids each day, is it just Water I count or can I include cups of tea, broth etc?

LouiseC 1,031 Posted June 20, 2012 I am relieved. Tea goes down much easier than water! Sent from my iPad using VST

hhwhittington 14 Posted June 20, 2012 It is very important to stay hydrated! I'm in the hospital right now!! I was so dehydrated my potassium level could have triggered a heart attack, luckily no liver/kidney damage. I have a central line in my neck because my veins are so bad. I came in Monday and won't get out til Thursday. Drink! Drink! Drink! 1 Brenda0600 reacted to this
Back~To~Amy 307 Posted June 20, 2012 I am relieved. Tea goes down much easier than water! Sent from my iPad using VST I'm 15 days postop now and I find warm liquids go down easier too. From other posts I've read, I think that is fairly common.

Nate 292 Posted June 20, 2012 Since my sleeve I've found that I've become addicted to hot green tea with one Splenda in it. I easily drink 4-5 cups through out the day. Thankfully green tea is low in caffeine.

Thankfully green tea is low in caffeine. Remember, caffeine dehydrates, so if you are drinking it you need even more Water.
