wolf3749 2 Posted June 20, 2012 Today I was going through withdrawal from cooking. I love it. Im 6 days post op and my husband has been cooking for himself and the kids while I crack open my can o' Soup. So, I decided to make some homemade soup. It was so delicious. Shiitakes and green onions sautéed in a tiny amount of butter. Add flour and stir and then 2cups low sodium chicken broth and stir til thickened. Add 1 cup evaporated milk. I then liquified it all in the blender. I was awesome! I felt normal in the kitchen. It makes the liquid stage soooo much better to have homemade, healthy, great tasting food. What helps you through your liquid stage? 1 Kiloalphatango reacted to this

tautry 95 Posted June 20, 2012 You should try adding some chicken flavored Unjury powder once the temp is below 130 degrees. I made a hearty veggie with lots of kale, onions, tomatoes, carrots cabbage, etc. I seasoned it with Mrs Dash & it was delicious. Good Luck.
