shellbell33081 115 Posted June 19, 2012 I have decided to stop worrying about the numbets on my scale. I love my scale when the numbers go down, but hate it when the numbers do not move or go up. We all know what this is like. However, I am super excited because I am losing inches!! The jeans I bought 3 weeks ago are getting baggy! I wish I was under 200(207.4 currently), but I'll take inches lost over a number on the scale any day! Take it from me folks, those scale numbers do not mean a whole lot. 3 FluffyBleu76, sdb1147 and healthiermeat40 reacted to this
sdb1147 54 Posted June 19, 2012 Congratulations shellbell33081 on your progress, which doesn't just mean the numbers on a scale. Stay excited and you'll see results. Good luck on your journey 1 shellbell33081 reacted to this
healthiermeat40 25 Posted June 19, 2012 I too felt the same way about the scale. This is my second stall. I have a new pair of jeans that I just got last week and they were a little snug. now since my stall is over i've dropped inches & 2 lbs and now they are a little baggy. That's why I'm not in a hurry to go shopping because wearing a pair of jeans for 1 month is not gonna work for me. I am still wearing my old (fat girl) clothes and i look uber ridiculous so i have to do something.
MamaT 47 Posted June 19, 2012 My dr told me to avoid the scale- so I am taking his advice and weighing myself monthly. I have decided not to let the scale dictate how I feel on this journey.. Up a pound.. Down a pound ... Whatever as long as I feel good that's what matters 1 sdb1147 reacted to this
Wheetsin 714 Posted June 19, 2012 scales are like toxic, bipolar best friends. Search my past posts on scales and you'll see I'm not being funny when I say that. They're miserable little shits. 4 shellbell33081, MamaT, sdb1147 and 1 other reacted to this

sdb1147 54 Posted June 19, 2012 I do my clothes shopping at Goodwill. Saves money Some day I'll get to be the correct size to shop at Goodwill. Right now, they don't have a good selection of 4-XL or 50-inch (waist) pants. But, I'm getting there. 1 shellbell33081 reacted to this
