leighx 12 Posted June 19, 2012 I am looking for good books regarding surgery and living life after surgery. Does anyone have suggestions if they have read any good books that have really helped them? I need something also that deals with the emotional aspect of the drastic change I am about to undergo. All suggestions are appreciated! 1 Nina88 reacted to this
iegal 460 Posted June 19, 2012 I haven't found books, but will wait to see what suggestions come up. You are smart to deal with any physc issues up front because the surgeon only does surgery on your stomach and not your brain. Suggest the internet and of course this forum. Many great topics to help you go and get more insight on challenges you will face and items you have not yet considered. Best wishes! 1 leighx reacted to this

2bsmallagain 156 Posted June 19, 2012 Dr. Alvarez is supposed to have a great book. I have seen people buy it even though he isn't there surgeon. It actually advertises on this sight. It is called "Successful Weight Loss with The Gastris Sleeve" by Dr. Alvarez. I am thinking of ordering it myself. It is $13.95 plus $4.95 shipping if you get the printed, for nook, kindle or ipad its $9.99 only.
