Thanks for the advice.... I'll defiantly try that !

Your welcome! Let me know if it works for you. I keep one in the car because that's where I usually get anxiety (I have a hard time riding and not driving) and I hate to drive go figure! :)

I hope all the October sleevers are doing well.I went through a horrible stall while on full liquids. I guess my body was in starvation mode because since I started soft foods on Nov. 13, my weight has started dropping again. I absolutely love to have real food again. The hardest part is that the pull of emotional eating is back. Last night I had a lot on my mind, and my first thought was to grab a snack. Luckily I recognized it and got Water instead, but I think it's right in saying that this is no easy journey. Anyone have any tips for staying focused?

I'm three weeks post op today and have started exercising. I have found that exercise in general is such a great release. Try going for a walk or doing some type of physical exercise when you feel the urge to splurge. It's going to be a struggle for a while for me because I was such an emotional eater all my life, but ultimately the overall goal is to replace those bad habits with healthy ones. SO thankful for my sleeve to help me accomplish my goals!

Today marks one month for me!! My weight has held at 248, down 27 lbs, I too removed the scale, it was becoming an obsession....lol. I am having a hard time with solids, dumping.....grrr. I was such a picky eater prior, it is even more challenging for me and I can't get all the Water down! Not doing good with the Vitamins (not taking them at all) thought I was on the right track but I guess not. All the mental preparation I had before seems to have slipped away, anyone else feel they are in the same boat?

Today is my 1 mth sleeveaversary! It was a rough month. Since removing dairy from my diet and passing the kidney stones, I am 110% better. I'm very excited to start an exercise program. I'm feeling great. I hit 50 lbs lost the other day, 34 since surgery!

Today marks one month since I've been sleeved. I was 327 now I'm 286 so that's 41 pounds down. Plus I've only got sick once and I can home eating what ever I wanted the only thing was I can only eat three or four folk full of something and that's it which is a good thing. I think I would have lost more if I could have went to the gym but I had foot surgery as well so that stopped me from doing all I wanted to do. But I have foot surgery on the other foot on the 30 so as long as I can still loose a little weight well I'm down that would be great. So good luck to you all and keep up the good work.

Honey, we started out at the same weight. I'm only three weeks out and am down 35lbs.

Are you on MFP by chance? I'd love to add you if so. I'm Robbino on there as well.

You've done remarkably well, considering your exercise limitations because of your foot.

I'm just now starting to walk and do some light toning. I don't want to push it too early but I'd like to start taking some Zumba classes again after Thanksgiving.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
