dawg 0 Posted August 29, 2006 It's hard to stay all fired up if the topic is lost in a lake of cheese I guess. Whether it works or not, "clakclakclakclakclak" was damn funny.

Elisabethsew 50 Posted August 29, 2006 Does doing this calm a heated situation down? I believe they call it a "thread killer" and while some people find it amusing, others find it annoying. As they say, to each his own.

Devana 0 Posted August 29, 2006 So let me get this straight. If someone doesn't like a thread they will try to kill it rather than ignore it, is that right?
DrewsLou 3 Posted August 29, 2006 I don't get the whole clakclak thing either. Inside joke?
FunnyDuddies 6 Posted August 29, 2006 I believe they call it a "thread killer" and while some people find it amusing, others find it annoying. As they say, to each his own. annoying is what kills the thread. its effective to say the least. the amusement is only a side effect, that us who are freaks and a bit demented really get enjoyment from. missy4gordon 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Why was Lisa banned for a PM. I've been told on more than one occasion if you have a problem don't put it on the board, go to a PM. Well a PM is what got Lisa in all this trouble because it was forwarded to others. She did what she was told she took it to a PM and now she is banned for it. She is retalliating because everyone was given one last chance...everyone but Lisa and that's not fair. She did what we have all been told to do, and should be given a second chance just like everyone else. So, PM's are obviously not the way to go for sure....I will make sure I tell my friends to contact me by e.mail so anything I say in a PM can't be used against me. WHY did the MOD's tell people to take it to PM's if they didn't mean it? That is my question here. If you follow the rules and go to PM's, why be punished for it? Lisa put her feelings in a PM and felt she was in the right, and she should have been. Why would a moderator put a lot of stock in PM's and now tell us we have to be careful of our "PM's" also? I say BRING BACK LISA. She is truthful and honest to a fault and liked by many....she can also be brazen and daring but things were heated up here and remarks made about Lisa when she wasn't even here...such as "I hope she never comes back" and "Who needs the drama". Why aren't those people that said that held accountable? Lisa defended herself. I would like to know the answer to this question too. I am a bit curious myself...... dawg 0 Posted August 29, 2006 If it makes you feel any better, we've never actually managed to kill a thread with cheese. We've tried but have so far not succeeded. It seems that we have chosen a subject that is dear to many peoples hearts and therefor the ball keeps rolling. I am proposing the concept of killing a thread with lettuce and exercise. As to why it's being done - I for one think that this thread shouldn't have been publically addressed. It should have been addressed directly to the moderators and the owners and grievances aired to them. There is only one person I would like to see respond to this thread, and that is Alex himself. And the clakclakclak is an outside inside joke. A very funny one. Now, everyone needs to spend an hour on the treadmill as punishment. hup Hup Hup.
