judy7120 4 Posted June 18, 2012 My husband asked me to ask you all about a running nose. He has this since surgery. Thanks, judy
Territravel 217 Posted June 18, 2012 Had surgery on Friday and my nose is running. I would rather it be something related to surgery and not a cold! But not a clue what it could be. Anyone out there experianced this? 2 judy7120 and Brenda0600 reacted to this
Brenda0600 4 Posted June 18, 2012 I am approximately 2 years out and this appears to be very common. I've talked with a few folks who have experience the nose running. There seems to be no real answers for this, just a result with many who had the sleeve. 1 judy7120 reacted to this
kczar 166 Posted June 18, 2012 I think I've read several people's comments that they think it's a sign of when they're full. Is that what your husband is experiencing? I'm not there yet, but I am curious to know if it's true.
Wheetsin 714 Posted June 18, 2012 Constantly, or when he eats/after eating? If the latter it could be a soft stop he has developed.
judy7120 4 Posted June 19, 2012 Constantly' date=' or when he eats/after eating? If the latter it could be a soft stop he has developed.[/quote'] At different times not just while eating or after eating. What is a soft stop?
Wheetsin 714 Posted June 19, 2012 A soft stop is a (usually) involuntary signal from your body that you need to stop eating, or else. A runny nose is a really common soft stop (which is why I asked). I had one for a few weeks, it was a quick inhale/sigh. But it's gone now.
