I am 11 weeks postop and I have had corn for the past 2 weeks. No problems. I don't know what my NUT would say, but I LOVE corn so I couldn't resist since in AZ it is now in season.

My paperwork says after 6 months, so that's what I am doing.

My Doc said to avoid corn for 4-6 months, so that's my plan. Doesn't bother me much anyways, i'm more of a green bean fan myself.

I would say if you have to have it, try to get it in a form you can blend it in -- like Soup - and blend. The kernels are hard to digest.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
