Newfoundlove 95 Posted June 18, 2012 How far out are you? If you're on regular food, then I would say yes. I'm 6 weeks out and on regular food and use Protein Bars. They are fairly high in carbs though so I usually only eat half a bar (I like Quest and Simple Truth bars). I've eaten a whole bar a couple of times because it needed to clever lunch and snack.< /p>
alliegb3 112 Posted June 18, 2012 I'm on a soft diet. Prob is, I'm allergic to nuts so I can't eat a lot of them, I found 3 that I could eat.
MyGastricSleeveLife 180 Posted June 18, 2012 Have you looked into the ThinkThin bars? I know they're gluten free. I'm not sure about nuts though. I was doing a monthly order of them through Amazon, but stopped it until August since I'm not on regular food again yet. I would make sure no matter what you do that you chew thoroughly and make sure you don't overdo it.
alliegb3 112 Posted June 18, 2012 I looked at some. I'm not that sensitive if they've been manufactured in a plant with nuts, but I'll keep an eye out on ingredients just to make sure.
lml32937 65 Posted June 18, 2012 Protein bars aka glorified candy bars can be dangerous... Look at the sugar/carb count-
trojanchick 5 Posted June 18, 2012 Try The Simply Bar. It's the best thing I have found. http://www.thesimplybar.com/
