MyGastricSleeveLife 180 Posted June 17, 2012 according to everything I've read and what my surgeon said, they end up having to put in a feeding tube into the intestines (I think) and basically you can't eat or drink anything until the leak heals on its own (the tissue closes up and heals). Nate 292 Posted June 17, 2012 I'm not entirely positive, but I think they have to go back in and sew/staple it up to close the leak if its big enough . I could be wrong though.
