I'm going to have the sleeve done in July in Tijuana, MX. Any 50+ being sleeved in July in MX?

Yep! Was sleeved May 8 and am 59 yrs. glad I did it and didn't wait to have WLS. I don't react well to anesthesia anytime & this surgery was no different. The first day was rough. But the next morning I was ready to go home and had no problems at all. 5 weeks out and I've lost 23 lbs. so far.

23 lbs That's great. I am going July 23. I know it will be the best thing I have done for myself. What are you eating now that you are 5 weeks out? Who was your surgeon and did you go to a clinic or hospital? I've heard I need to buy gas relief pills, take tape to hold the IV down, did you do any of this?
