joyful noise 101 Posted June 15, 2012 Caffeine can dehydrate you.
melissarn25 30 Posted June 16, 2012 Doctor told me I could have 1 cup daily so I have been drinking it since surgery. Nothing in it of course at first. Just make sure you drink extra Water.< /p> 1 Glendaaus reacted to this
alliegb3 112 Posted June 17, 2012 Caffeine will bother the stomach sometimes. Tore mine up before surgery. It'd probably kill my little tummy now! But I'd kill three people for a diet dr pepper! 1 candy1980 reacted to this
newnin 3 Posted June 21, 2012 Caffeine is very irritating after surgery. Decaf is OK. I buy a good decaf like Dunkin' Donuts and it tastes pretty good.
SleeveDreamer 383 Posted June 22, 2012 Hy can't we drink coffee? Gave up food' date=' cigarettes, and coffee! I need coffee, lol[/quote'] My doctor said caffeine does nothing but dehydrate you. Won't hurt anything. I drink so much Water throughout the day that I am far from getting dehydrated, so every morning I have a Starbucks Skinny vanilla Latte with an extra shot! shrinkingturtle 21 Posted June 25, 2012 caffeine is dehydrating and it is also a dietetic which is not good when everything we eat now we need to fully process and absorb. So no caffeine. honestly after a while you will forget. just be happy for the flavor and not cry for the zip.
K33 87 Posted June 30, 2012 It tends to stimulate hunger, too.
Dooter 1,457 Posted July 1, 2012 I was cleared for one cup of regular coffee per day once I got home from the hospital. I USED to think it was all the coffee giving me reflux and acid problems. NOPE.. It was all the CRAP I was eating that was laden with sugar and fat and refined flour. Coffee was the LEAST of my stomach problems. Go for it dude. Just keep up on your Water intake I had Decaf this morning, it taste so much different.
