Happy2Bme 13 Posted June 14, 2012 I must admit this is a little harder than I anticipated. I had terrible nausea and dry heaves for the first day and a half. Now I am just working with the acid reflux and sleeve spasms. Please tell me it gets better!
MinaT 669 Posted June 14, 2012 Sweety, it gets better. focus on yourself only. take small sips don't worry so much about the Protein, walk a little bit, sip. I'm 10 days out and I still am tired, I'm still sore, but I got the drain out yesterday and am already feeling like I'm crossing some hurdle. I questioned my decision once a day since the day after surgery. Day 1 I was a rock star, I walked like 5 times, day 2 was my hardest day. For the next week or so you are going to have ups and downs, just bear with it and it will get easier.
ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted June 14, 2012 Please tell me it gets better! Happy2Bme Yes things will get better - really they will - But you now have a life sentence with the sleeve. But don't worry, the life will be good. This is a totally new style of living, and eating. The expression "Live to eat" or "Eat to Live" is very true. I used to be in the first catagory. Life will change for you - and you will be healthier and feel better, and getting a little slimmer is a plus too. take care best of luck kathy
