I am 8 weeks post op (4/11) and seem to have hit a stall again. I have been at 156.5 for about 2 weeks now. Can't help but worry because this is the weight that my body has stopped at everytime I have lost weight in the past. I am not freaking yet...LOL.. just a lil nervous. I plan to keep on keepin on and hopefully my sleeve will take care of me this time. Don't get me wrong.. I am thrilled and totally satified with my results so far... I just want past this brick wall. I am so close to being OVERWEIGHT.. I can smell it. (8 pounds).

Kathy, It's called a set point (not sure where I read that). It's a weight where your body was once very comfortable. I stuck at 262 for what seemed like forever because I was at 262 for a couple of years on my way UP the scale. It only makes sense for the body to stick there on the way down the scale, too. It's a place that is familiar and comfy for your body. Keep doing what you're supposed to be doing (protein, Water and exercise) and the scale WILL move!! :)
