They denied on the basis of needing a separate medical evaluation, which I have and was included in the information that was already sent. They are asking that we split it out and resend it. Once that is done, I should know in 5 days. It has been a long haul because the surgeon didn't originally want to do the surgery because of prior medical history-it has been over 2 years since my first visit there!
