AKSleever 57 Posted June 12, 2012 Ok came home waited 14 days, got my stitches out! 4 of my stitches are healing great! However I am really having trouble with 2 of them! They are moist and don't want to dry up and heal! They seperated a little! The doc said if they do any more to come back! The stitches I'm having trouble with is the one under my bra! And the one on my left side at waist where you do all your bending! I'm a little worried about it! Has anyone else had this problem

MirandaK 14 Posted June 13, 2012 Hey girl. I am having the same ordeal! My top one came completely open! Was gross! So my doc has me soak some gauze with sterile solution and put it on my open incisions for 15 minutes then put antibiotic ointment on it with a bandage. Just the two that are open. My other incisions are doing good. But my two that are open just have to heal from the inside out.
AKSleever 57 Posted June 13, 2012 Oh man! This sucks! So tell me is it Over the counter stuff you buy (the solution and antibiotic cream)! I'm having trouble with the band aids even the latex free stuff is blistering my skin

AKSleever 57 Posted June 14, 2012 I went to the doctor today, he said leave off the band aids ( I was blistering from them) then in the morning he said to take a gauze and put hydrogen peroxide on it and dab the stitch are, then let air dry! He also said I could put neosporine around where the band aids hurt my skin, then to repeat at night
