I Learned My Lesson. Do Not Do A Strenuous Hike Without A Carb Load

Recommended Posts

I miss PB&J. What kind of bread are you guys using?

I wonder about that too. For awhile I was experimenting with ultra high Protein bread, but it tastes like crap and it would just sit there until it molded. I just buy good, healthy bread for everyone and have an occasional bit. The last thing I latched onto was Trader Joe's whole wheat peasant or rustica bread i think it was called. If I'm going to eat something it going to be good for me and good to eat.

This was just a rustic whole wheat with a crunchy natural Peanut Butter and homemade blackberry jam with Splenda. The ride was just over 6 hours so it really wasn't all that much food if you look that I burned 4,500 calories for the ride,

You hike was pretty spectacular I have to admit. That's not an insignificant climb espcially over a 3.2 miles. That's a 13.4% incline. That's hard!

Now I'm just stumbling over this stuff. He's another guy for chocolate milk. I hate video article though. I really wanted a list of foods.
