labubakari 24 Posted June 7, 2012 I will be totally honest, having this surgery is very big, this is something u really need to think about. I will admit the very next day I was feeling regret, but each day I'm feeling better. I had my surgery Monday & today I'm having some heartburn & diarrhea, that's nothing compared to the other days. I'm not hungry, I only eat because I have to, to get energy. I can't wait to get over this hurdle. 1 Amytequilahouse reacted to this

New_Hope 54 Posted June 7, 2012 I had my surgery on June 5th. Just got home last night. Not really hungry either. Was shocked to see I had gained 11 lbs. Trying to figure out how that was possible.
Izzy0525 14 Posted June 7, 2012 Hang in there, it gets better! I was sleeved on May 25 th and exactly a week after surgery I returned to work. I was off pain meds three days after getting home. Other than some soreness and the heartburn I feel completely normal...actually better than I did before.

LaBelle509 326 Posted June 7, 2012 The IV fluids is the reason for the gain. Walk as much as you can and sip your liquids! By next week things will be better

Trying to figure out how that was possible. My friend gained 10 lbs too. He said it was because of the liquids pumped into you. I lost 1 lb when I got home from hospital. We are all different. And that 11 lbs you will prob pee out hopefully.
