Wow Best Protein Concoction Ever

Recommended Posts

Ok so I was skeptical that it would mix well but I took a packet of Unjury Protein Powder unflavored, and mixed with two sugar free pudding cups I emptied them into a bowl and whisked it was probablt the first time I had Protein powder that actually didn't taste like protein powder.

I recommend making it kinda runny consistency, tastes delicious and less than 20 net carbs, but great for us on pre op diet not yet used to it, or trying to get by without chocolate.< /p>

How long did it take to deliver after you purchased it?

just to let you know the pre-made fat free instant pudding has TONS of sugar in it. but if you buy the packages (fat free & sugar free) in the store and make it from home using skim milk it is much better for you.

It says on the package 4g Fiber, 2g sugar, and 8g sugar alcohol which doesn't count as a sugar. 14 total grams carbs. It is the sugar free, not fat-free I know the fat free has sugar.

But I can see the home made with skim milk working better but the other I think will work when youre in a pinch for time, not to mention we were out of milk and I can't do Protein mixed with Water.< /p>

Hey guys, Unjury is wonderful! If you google body by Vi recipes. Gives you a list of over 50 shakes you can make, just replace their Protein powder with the unjury (the best protein, bar none). I am 4 weeks post op today! Loving my decision!

chiki they say 2 to 3 lbs a week with the sleeve is a general amount that is considered normal. if you lost 2 lbs a week that would be 8 lbs but you lost 10 lbs so in my opinion you are doing great. some people lose more and some people have had a really hard time losing any at all. once you feel up to it make sure you start walking a bit and get some exercise in of your choice. get your body moving, it helps burn calories but also it helps get your metabolism up too that plus your sleeve should make some great success!

You can do the same basic thing - Protein powder, SF pudding mix, liquid of choice (milk, soymilk, whatever), SF syrups or mixes, and chuck it into an ice cream maker and have "protein ice cream". If you search Atkins diet boards you'll find years and years' worth of recipes.

chocolate powder with PB2, SF Peanut Butter Syrup and a pinch of SF chocolate pudding mix is quite yum. I made one the other night with chocolate protein powder, instant espresso mix, and salted caramel syrup.

Using protein powder and some creativity you can actually make fairly similar knock-offs of many things. With my lapband one of my favorites was my orange or strawberry "julius" that DH swore tasted like the real thing. pumpkin pie pudding, vanilla protein, and cinnamon syrup...

It's pretty much limitless.

I ordered it online from www.netrition.com. A lot of the SF syrups taste fake, but the salted caramel tastes spot-on.

Oh I forgot to list Almond Roca. My local Marhall's had a bottle of it in SF (Torani) for $3.99. Yum, I add it to my plain Greek yogurt.

Thanks!! All my syrups are from Torani's. My daughter uses them too, she is type 1 diabetic!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
