argon 3 Posted October 25, 2006 BrightFuture! I see you! Come say hi  (or better yet, start your own thread, and ramble away... we don't want to hijack Cloe's)
CLOE 0 Posted October 26, 2006 Don't worry about me, I don't have much to say lately anyway. Having said that, I want to apologize for not being here much lately. Between my husbands campaign, and craft season upon us, I've been really, really busy. And, I've been missing you guys.

BrightFuture 0 Posted October 26, 2006 Well, I was planning on staying in the shadows for a while longer, but I guess now is as good a time as any to say hi. (Cloe: I'm just going to borrow your thread for a minute because I'm not brave enough to start my own yet) I was banded at tlbc on Sept 14 and am down 38 pounds already (including pre-op diet) Yey me! The boys are already taking notice of me! Today a homeless boy offered to make me dinner at my place if I gave him some change. I declined. I've been reading your posts (Canada Local Lap-band) for about 2 months now and I think you guys are just hilarious. You guys have been a great source of support for me even though you didn't know it. You have influenced me so much that I'm going to buy a crock pot this weekend...and I hate to cook. I just can't resist those recipes though. Anyway, that's about it for me. BrightFuture
Yoda 0 Posted October 26, 2006 *waves* howdy BrightFuture (appropriate nic). Glad u joined us. I can understand why it took ya while though; I mean, certain folks can be quite intimidating (glares at Cloe and Mandi)...but you just have to learn to ignore them (sometimes they go off their meds...but truly, they are harmless). Welcome and congrats on the amazing job you have done so far!! Perhaps that homeless boy was the same one who wanted Green's liver!! hehe Where ya from? Give us some more info on you *whips file out to take notes*. Don't be a stranger.

I'm single, never been married and no kids. I live alone; not even a goldfish to speak of. I like long walks by the beach and candle lit dinners. I'm jealous....but very happy for you. It sounds like you have a terrific job and a very bright future ahead of you. Welcome. Thanks! I feel the need to mention that I'm a super-sized bandster (starting BMI of over 60) becuase I've heard that weight comes off a little quicker for us in the beginning. But, alas, the 38 pounds is just beginning of a very long journey for me. I'm hoping to lose an additional 160 pounds. BrightFuture

BrightFuture, my BMI was 57.7 when I started, it's down to about 45-46 now. I think the higher the number starts, the more exciting it all is!! CLOE 0 Posted October 27, 2006 What crafts do you do Cloe? I do poured candles, rolled candles, sparkle candles, homemade soaps, painted wood, napkin rings, signs, personalized x-mas ornaments, awww, my brain is starting to hurt, stuff like that. I love it, I do a craft show every Saturday now to Christmas.
