WOW!!!

You look AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOME CLOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you soooo much for sharing those!

:clap2: :clap2:

Your progress is terrrrific!!!!

Okay....on another note: that is amazing info about the lambs, and ewes and rams. HOLY CRAP....I"m learning a lot here (not being sarcastic). Happy rams??!! I GUESS SO!!!!! Man, they must have like an unlimited production of ram sperm goin' on!!! I gotta admit, I didn't even know a male sheep was CALLED a ram. I thought a ram was a type of mountain goat. huh....and almost right in my own backyard!

Can't wait to see photos of those lambies!!!!!

Wow Cloe you look great, keep up the good work.

I always wanted a lamby. They are so cute. I wanted a black one! Have you ever had a black one? Are they rare?

Now I would assume that ewes have baby boys and girls so what to you do with all the baby boys. Do you always breed the same mommies? or are they "sent away"?

Very interesting, we may all become sheep farmers!

Thanks guys, yes I feel good. The funny thing is just a short 6 months ago I hadnt even talk to a LB surgeon yet, WOW, time flies.

Argon/Mandi - your making me verrrry nervous!

In a pickle - Yes we do have black ones. Out of about 300 lambs we might get around 10. Usually always from white ewes and visa versa. Yes it is much better to be born a little ewe. Baby rams are sent to market, unless we sell the odd one to someone for breeding, but we dont keep them. Yes we breed the same mommy ewes, we keep records on each one, like if they breed every time, how many lambs they have, how much there lambs weighed at weaning time, etc...If they are good moms, they will stay with us forever, if not, well, its off to market for them too.

Yes, mows and fertilizes at the same time...lol...problem is they like to eat the flowers first.

I don't think I could fit the black lamby in the envelope.

Mandy, Yes, they are tagged when they are born, with just a little weenie tag with a number, it is written down, so that later we know which mommy they belong to.

They are definately adorbibble. But then they grow, and there less cute, and then the hydro bill comes in and the phone bill, and the feed bill. By then they look better on the trailer.;)

So... tell me things...

Do you shave 'em and sell the wool?

Do they live outside? What do they do in the winter? Is there a barn they go warm up in?

So... if you save the girls... do you make sure that they don't breed with their dads? (that is, if you get the same rams in year after year) Or does it really matter? Maybe inbred sheep are just as yummy as non-inbred sheep? LOL

The idea of eating incest lamb chops does seem bizarre, come to think of it....

We had this guy show up at work in my department after having been off work for years. He had more or less drunk his brains dry. Anyway, once he heard that I liked cats he cornered me and began showing me photos of his cats. They were adorable, and all related to each other, and not in a good way. LOL. Anyhow, all this cat action was going on in his apt. The joint must have stunk!!! His marbles were pretty much gone, and he didn't last long at work.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
