Can only speak from my experience and what I've read ....

Basically the thinner you get the harder you have to work to get it off. I was a relative lightweight (about 209) when I started pre op diet in Feb and I'm now 169. The biggest slab of weight came off during the 4-5week pre-op diet (about 20lbs). Now I'm struggling to lose a pound a week. It kind of goes up and down. My exercise has petered out a bit so I need to move more. If you're a bit heavier to begin with you'll find the weight will fly off (apparently) in big chunks....as you get smaller the weightloss will slow down. It must come down to calories....smaller people need less calories to maintain than bigger ones....hence it's harder to lose weight! I hope that explains it. Someone else might be able to explain it better!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...
