BlessedBeyondMeasure2012 296 Posted June 5, 2012 Yes, I'm chanting it this morning! I haven't been sleeved yet so I haven't gotten many victories yet but this morning I did 5 minutes on my elliptical without stopping! I did it at a pace of about a 15-min mile and I DIDN'T DIE! YAY!!! I haven't been on my elliptical in months but I'm trying to prepare for my surgery in a little less that 2 months and I want to do all that I can to give myself the best odds at getting to my goal. I'm going to do another 5 min this evening and then I'm going to start adding time (okay, maybe only 30 seconds at a time) to my time on the elliptical. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about losing weight. My arms are sore this morning too from the resistance bands I started using on Sunday. I can't believe I'm happy to be sore! 1 Pookeyism reacted to this

Patrick Curl 424 Posted June 5, 2012 Anyone know of a good eliptical with a 700 capacity... I'm just too busy to get to the gym (FT work, FT STudent). I'm currently 650 pounds and don't want to break a $600+ machine.
SexySlim 107 Posted June 5, 2012 I did a quick search and only found some that go up to 400 lbs. Can you make time to walk outside in a hilly area? Hills are great cardio! Sent from my iPhone using VST
Patrick Curl 424 Posted June 5, 2012 Yeah, I guess just walking is good now.. but would be nice to have something I can do while I watch TV lol ... something to keep my mind distracted.
SexySlim 107 Posted June 5, 2012 How about one of those pedal things. Like the bike without the seat. You can have it by your couch and pedal as you watch tv. I'm sure that has no weight limit. Sent from my iPhone using VST
Lissa 2,631 Posted June 5, 2012 Walking, weights, one of those little pedal machines, all will help you to get started. Every little bit you do will add to your muscle volume, which increases your metabolism and will help you lose weight faster. good luck!!
