notime 340 Posted June 4, 2012 I have been sleeved for six weeks and am having trouble getting through a full day without being totally exhausted. Is this exhaustion normal or could it be my diet. My diet consists of at least 64 oz fluids, 60 grams Protein, 600-700 calories. I take 2 children's Vitamins daily, Calcium, B12. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? serenekolaski 11 Posted June 5, 2012 The onlything I would do is take adult chewable vitamins they have more of what we need 1 notime reacted to this
Joni 94 Posted June 5, 2012 I have been tired too at 6 wks postop. I really have to push myself to do even simple things. For instance, went grocery shopping today, and it's a good thing my husband was with me. I got so tired I had to sit down while he checked out. I was exhausted and dragged myself to the car. For me, I think I need to start really exercising to build stamina. One thing, does your Vitamin contain Iron? It should. 1 notime reacted to this

Chimera 644 Posted June 6, 2012 Are you also taking your Iron and B50? those are two really important ones. I am just over two weeks out and have the energy of a dishrag lol. I am getting my Vitamins down, but the Protein is a challenge - everything tastes terrible. Hang in there - hopefully we will all be bursting with energy soon
Thinner Peace 24 Posted June 6, 2012 I worry about the same thing. I go back to work at 7 weeks out and I have a very fast paced job. Prior to pre-op diet I drank coffee or upped my B-12 that helped a lot. I think the body just runs out of fuel on such a low calorie intake.
