Joni 94 Posted June 4, 2012 Yes, yes, yes! I just went through this. It was waking me up and killing me!! I had been taking 20 mg of prilosec 2x/day. They had me double the dose to 40 mg 2x/day, and that solved the problem. I didn't have reflux before surgery, so I didn't know what the heck was going on. It was reflux. I was sleeved on 4/23. karenb4729 309 Posted June 4, 2012 Yep - that's acid reflux. I have been battleing it for a few years but am hoping the hernia repair that I'm having during surgery quiets it down, other wise I'm sure will be upping my dose of Omeprazole.
deltadawn817 106 Posted June 4, 2012 re flux and try to start taking something as chronic acid re flux can cause cancer in your esophagus.
