emarie820211 2 Posted June 3, 2012 Mixed feelings... It's so hard not to have mixed feeling but I'm telling you after a month goes by you feel so good! I had the sleeve in December and I'm down 61lbs, and it's the best feeling ever! Our minds still want all the food we use to eat but as each day goes by you end up being thankful you did it. disneybound 0 Posted June 4, 2012 I was sleeved the same day as you. I was sick after I woke up and it didn't get better till around 7 pm that night. When I woke up Thursday, I felt good no pain meds or nausea since the day before. I was walking around the unit no problems. I got d/c around 3:30 pm and we drove home. It was the car ride from hell. I had to take Zofran Thursday and Friday along with the Vicodin. I was crying Friday, wondering what the hell did I do to myself? But guess what the last two days have been good ones! My daughters and I met Aidan from Being Human at Comic Con in Philly yesterday and today we went to the park and walked. Hopefully the days just get better! We have to remember this is a long process just like the one to have the surgery. If you need anyone to talk to message me. Lynn
trish151 33 Posted June 7, 2012 I had surgery May 30, too. I was a revision from a lapband and thought I was pretty prepared but I also came home wondering what in the hell I had done to myself. Then I realized I just had most of my stomach cut out. Helps not to think about it much and just get to feeling better. I'm already down 16 lbs in 7 days and It feels good to see the scales moving. This time next year, I'm sure we won't think anything of it. 1 whitniccole reacted to this
