SpaceyCasey 97 Posted June 2, 2012 I'm 4 1/2 months post op and meat smells so bad I can't even eat it. Ive had serious issues since sugery with the way food smells and taste. Meat smells, dairy products smell and noodles even smell bad. It's the strangest thing I can't figure out what's in those things that smell and taste bad to me. FluffyBleu76 32 Posted June 2, 2012 LOL... I used to eat rice so much that a gag gift for my 22nd bday was a book called, "1001 Things You Can Do With Rice"! Now, a little over 1 month post-op, I could careless if I had rice. I don't crave it and it doesn't seem as tasty anymore. It's funny how this surgery has changed our taste preferences. peacequeen 434 Posted June 2, 2012 I have the same issues with some foods. I used to be able to down a big glass of milk but it tastes funny to me now. I also loved cottage cheese and certain ice creams..I'd crave them but not anymore. I'd like to enjoy the milk with a cookie on occasion but it's not the same.
