Lisa's Hope 421 Posted June 2, 2012 DId anyone else experience a stall going into the 3 food stage. I've actually haven't lost any weight at all this whole week on full liquids!! What is going on? Any advice? So far I lost 15 pounds pre op and 13 pounds after surgery. I'm very happy with that but I'm not happy that I'm eating nothing and the scale is staying the same. MyGastricSleeveLife 180 Posted June 2, 2012 Yes. It's normal as our bodies adjust to what we're eating & also because of the shock of surgery & healing. Are you doing measurements too? Last week I was at the same week for 4 days, but lost 7 inches throughout my body. This week I went up in weight & then down again, but have only lost 1/2 a pound so far. I haven't done my measurements yet this week, but I'm hoping I lost some more inches. You just need to give your body time. Just stick to your plan & your body will respond at some point! emily_0192010 168 Posted June 2, 2012 Oh yes!! It is actually extremely normal... you hit the "three week stall". It sucks, but it happens. I believe it is just your body's way of dealing with the all the changes. You will break out of it! In the meantime, focus on your Water, Protein and Vitamins and don't worry about the scale (well, try not to!) 1 Lisa's Hope reacted to this
