Ready4success 380 Posted June 2, 2012 Hello all, I will be having single incision surgery for my sleeve, can anyone tell me how you felt post-op? Pain? Recovery time? I've had two prior laparoscopic surgeries, and I'm worried there will be a lot of scar tissue. Did anyone have any complications from having the single incision? Any comments are welcome. Thanks! lose4good2012 8 Posted June 2, 2012 I am thinking about doing the same, with the Spider Tool. Interested in hearing any input as well.
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted June 2, 2012 I got 6 incisions and they weren't that bad. I can't imagine what 1 incision will look like but am very sure that incision site will end up in your belly button.
amr2393 16 Posted June 2, 2012 I'm not sure exactly what kind of single incision apparatus your doctor will be using but in all the surgeries in which I have seen the single incision is a 15mm port. Meaning that single incision will be little bigger than those associated with the 6 port laparoscopic sleeve surgeries. Regardless, that's exciting and congrats to you!
