thinmymind 107 Posted June 1, 2012 I like wearing the workout tanks with the built in bras. The ones I have fit tight against the body, but not so tight as a compression garment. Do you think this would be comfortable post op, or would some that is loose and flowy be better?
Krysty 11 Posted June 1, 2012 The workout tanks should be pretty comfortable, unless the band of the bra rubs across any incisions. I was sent home with a JP drain, so something loose was what I had to wear until they pulled that darned thing out. Not all docs send their patients home with a drain though. You might want to ask your doc beforehand.
LadyIvy 159 Posted June 1, 2012 I had a drain so really had to wear something loose. Also, the smallest incision on me was close enough to a bra strap I had to be a bit careful and not wear anything too tight.

Do you think this would be comfortable post op, or would some that is loose and flowy be better? I wore loose clothes home from the hospital and for several weeks after. At about the 3rd week I could put on workout pants and workout shirt. With all of the bandages, I just wanted to ensure I wounds were able to feel properly. Puppies4us110 11 Posted June 1, 2012 I wore loose clothing, especially pants because the incisions were sore & I had rashes from the adhesive on heart monitor 'stickies.'
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted June 1, 2012 They might be tight now! But not for long! My bra didn't really matter as much as my pants. I didn't want the waist band to rub against my incision sites.
