beefalogal 43 Posted June 1, 2012 Attended my first nutrition class at Dr. Kim's office today. Lots of info given at a very fast clip. The part I remember most is that I had to commit to 3 goals before my next class in a month. The choices I made are scary when you really start putting them in place. 1. Keep food record, identify eating triggers and avoic eating while distracted. That was all in one choice!!! 2. No more carbonated drinks. I do love my diet cokes/pepsi. It does make me grieve! 3. gradual onset of exercise of 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. Since I have a month before my next visit I believe that number 2 will be my last one to accomplish! I will work on one for a week before I add the second. Habits are very hard to make or break. It will be worth it!
New Orleans Lady 12 Posted June 1, 2012 I replaced soft drinks with green tea since that is a healthy alternative. I like freshly squeezed lemon in it along with liquid sweet leaf stevia.
beefalogal 43 Posted June 1, 2012 I am liking green tea better myself. I have found that some of the bottled ones sneak in caffeine. Thanks for the suggestion.
