beautifuldiva 22 Posted May 31, 2012 I haven't tried laying all the way on my stomach just on my side. Im two weeks out and am slowly moving so that more of my stomach is touching the mattress. I would just suggest you do what feels comfortable for you. If your newly out of surgery, like less than a week then just lean on your side or back. All of my steri strips are off, so my outer incision is closed, when your incisions are healed might be the best time to try. Hope that helps and congrats on ur sleeve. band2sleeveinNoVA 5 Posted May 31, 2012 I'm 8 days post-op and can lay on my stomach now but I think it's mostly because I was a Lap-bander who also had plastics done in November 2011 - my belly button area (majority of my sleeve surgery) is still numb so I'm back at work fulltime and doing whatever really, no pain med's at all just sipping allllll day long. Do what your body will allow, for both my band and abdominoplasty it took a while until I felt comfortable and even now I don't lay for long periods of time, side sleep is your friend

chrysler 16 Posted June 1, 2012 Wow I was just wondering this myself this morning! I am two weeks out today and tried sleeping on my stomach for the first time last night. It has made me site in the major incision today. So just listen to your body I guess because everyone is different.
