Indymom 132 Posted May 31, 2012 I agree with using MFP to track your food intake. Early after surgery, it's also good to measure by volume rather than weight. For example, 1/4 of a cup is about 2 oz by volume - 2 tablespoons is about 1 oz. Once I was able to eat dense Proteins like meats and cheese, I started measuring by weight - but for the first few months it was all volume measurements. That's what my nutritionist recommended.
