thinmymind 107 Posted May 31, 2012 Well, that says it all - when were you able to drive? I mean short distances - 30 minutes or less.
NJsharon 119 Posted May 31, 2012 I drove after about 4 days! I was off my pain medications as soon as I left the hospital (2 days) & felt fine to drive!

Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted May 31, 2012 Within a week. Wanted to make sure I was off my pain meds. Started going up the mountain which is a 2 hour drive from my house. Had to stop and walk a little to prevent blot clots.

PRETTY BIRD 0 Posted May 31, 2012 My Doctor had me wait 2 weeks. He said just in case I had to stop short and hit the break or make a quick turn, he didn't want me to cause any damage to myself. If you can wait, take it easy, let your family and friends wait on you hand and foot. Lol
