lizard476 14 Posted May 31, 2012 And I have lost 30 pounds:) I have had no nausea at all, but I do one uncomfortable incision:( also my doctor has me in full liquids for 3 weeks to ensure my stomach heals and there are no complications. My biggest challenge is this mid morning slump I get? Afternoon I pick back up but between 11-2 I could sleep!?
FatGirlSlim 115 Posted May 31, 2012 Congrats!!! I am two weeks out too although I did have nausea for a day or two after surgery. Keep it up!
Spatters3 315 Posted May 31, 2012 Although the surgery is done laparoscopically (thank God!) it still is major surgery and your body is trying its best to heal. Couple that with the reduced amount of nutrients you're able to consume and well, no wonder you're tired ! Be kind to your body, pamper it and console it and make sure you give it lots of fluids and lots of Protein. Your energy will return in a couple of weeks. chitowngirl 886 Posted May 31, 2012 To be honest I was off work for 1 month, and I pretty much slept that month away. My body was just so tired, so I think what your body is going thru is normal.
