Got Some Premier Protein Shakes

Recommended Posts

These are the only Protein shakes I could drink after surgery. I have only tried the vanilla and really like them. I wish my local costco stocked strawberry' date=' because I would like to try those.[/quote']

I looked Online. Premiernutrition.com has them 28.00 a case in all the available flavors. I live about one hour away from the closest Sam's. No costco in my neck of the woods. This is a great option for me.

I am with PDXMan love the premiere shakes and Protein bars. My hubby now drinks one a day and he is not sleeved but manages his weight after doing Atkins this way, we get both chocolate and vanilla and have 6 cases and one in the fridge :)

I was surprised when I purchased 2 boxes last week and they automatically took $10.00 off my bill and I didn't know they were on sale! Yippee!

I really like the Premiere shakes too! I bought mine at costco with the coupon, but SAMs has them too.

I haven't heard of the Cookies, but costco also sells the Protein bars. Same deal ... 30 grams of Protein. 3 flavors ... Can't remember them exactly ... chocolate Peanut Butter, double chocolate and yogurt something.

They are big, so it takes me awhile to eat one, but they are good.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
