Crichard1107 28 Posted June 1, 2012 Gigimamma, Check with Cigna, they have revised their bariatric policy and only require three months now instead of six!!! I found that out at the end of my 5th month so it did not make a big difference for me but for someone just starting it will make a world of difference. Wheetsin 714 Posted June 1, 2012 Cigna approved my band removal, then denied my sleeve for two specific criteria. I wrote/filed an appeal and they approved.

I'm now 5 almost 6 weeks post op, and have lost 39 pounds and 4 pant sizes!! Good Luck to you! I have the open access plan and it sure would be nice to get sleeved sooner rather than later.

Ready4success 380 Posted June 2, 2012 Aw, that sucks, but thanks for passing it along. I wonder if this is why the nurse in my surgeon's office called twice this week. We kept playing phone tag. Well, good luck to you, and thanks again. I'm telling everyone I know, lol.
