karenabrams 2 Posted May 29, 2012 I had my sleeve done it will be three years in October. I will just say it was the best thing i could have ever done! I was 216 before i had my surgery, my goal was to get to 145 because after all that's a significant amount of weight to lose. However i now weigh 111! It is life changing. I wouldn't take it or my experience back for anything. If you are thinking about doing it, i say go for it. Yes its a huge decision and it does require you to change your current lifestyle but you won't regret it, if your wanting to make a change. Good luck everyone! 2 weight_no_longer and Nina88 reacted to this

karenabrams 2 Posted May 30, 2012 Good luck! Let me know how it goes! You will love it. Hard to get used to at first but once you figure out your new tummy and its limits, pounds just start shedding. msYoYo 17 Posted May 30, 2012 How long did it take you to lose the weight? Was it really hard to lose or was the tool as helpful as they say it is? My surgery is on the 7th.
mburke 0 Posted May 31, 2012 Thanks for posting the update to your journey. What changes did you make to allow for the successful weight loss and what have you had to do to maintain it? Specifically, how much do you exercise and has your appetite ever returned to what it was post-surgery.
karenabrams 2 Posted May 31, 2012 most of my weight i had lost in the first year, i still fluctuate though. i haven't had to exercise really, the only reason would be to tone up. As far as appetite, you do get some back but you want to be careful to not overdue it. it does take time to get to know your limits. its not as easy as you think but you will get to know and adjust to the lifestyle. it is so totally worth it though. i wouldn't take it back dot anything in the world. good luck to you all and let me know how you guys do! Im excited for you all.
