TheNewMimi 39 Posted July 30, 2012 This particular thread was a lifesaver last night. I was on day 3 of Clear Liquids and when I went to bed last night, I started feeling puny, sweaty, shaky, my stomach was in knots... I thought I was starving to death. All I wanted was a piece of bread! I just knew it was going to calm down my stomach. Well, I read this support group page instead and all of you veterans were posting positive things to people who felt like me saying that it was a sort of withdraw and to hang in there. Well I listened, didn't eat the bread, and had the worst nights sleep ever. BUT, I woke up this morning, felt 100% better and proud that I didn't give in to the old me! I'm on my way friends and I am proud that I stared my demons straight in the eye! I'm ready to rock this surgery tomorrow! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES!

Carolyn51 12 Posted July 30, 2012 Down 22 so far and isn't a full week. I think I really want to do the weight loss. Saggy sink isn't anything I am into! Sent from my iPad using VST
Carolyn51 12 Posted July 30, 2012 New mini, if I can do this you can. Ay 61 I finally decided enough. I am in really good health and want to stay that way as long as I can. The weight was starting to cause me knee and back problems. So I just did it. The hardest part is trying to get your mind to behave. We will not starve... I promise. I am on the post op side now and so very thankful. Can't wait to be into my other smaller clothes that I have hanging in the closet!
