tonia 12 Posted May 28, 2012 I have surgery Tuesday morning at 7:30. I have had no fear until about an hour ago. I have a beautiful four year old little girl. I hope and pray the surgery goes well. She is my world. She is part of the reason that I am making this drastic decision. I want to live a long healthy life with her. I know she is in good hands with her father, my husband while I'm in the hospital. I just have this fear of not waking up from surgery and never seeing her again. massindex 346 Posted May 28, 2012 There are a lot of things in this world we can control and even more that we can't control. Those fears are very normal. Be at peace with your choices and know that those that you have put your faith in also want the best for you.
Liliana Arleen 173 Posted May 28, 2012 Yes,to be nervous is normal. I have a 2 year old, I was a bit nervous prior my surgery but you know what? the more calm and positive you do,the better you will do with the surgery recovery process. Just have faith and be positive, you are doing this for your daughter,to live longer and a healthy life. Best of luck!!

sdb1147 54 Posted May 28, 2012 Nerves are normal. Heck I'm having my Endoscopy on June 7 & I'm nervous about that, nervous in the sense that I know I'm getting closer to that magical surgery date. All of us out here on this website will be wishing you well and saying prayers for you. Think of all the positive things (changes) that will happen. By the way, you've got a cute little girl. Lucky lady.
