hollygolightly 6 Posted May 28, 2012 I have been practicing yoga on and off for over 10 years. Just before my surgery I was taking 4 classes a week. Yoga has always been a great stress reliever for me. I also find I can build the best strength through yoga practice. I am 3 months out of surgery and feeling pretty good. I did two restorative yoga classes this weekend and my stomach is on fire! I am worried about my abdominal wall muscles. Am I damaging them? Does anyone have experience with starting yoga again after surgery? Thanks!

Allie ALii 60 Posted May 28, 2012 i stared at 8 weeks out yes it hurts a bit, just take it easy at first you have to get used to your new body but it is perfectly fine, just don't over do it
