I am gonna have to throw this at yall. For 5 months and 2 weeks I took the liquid form. For the last 2 weeks I got the injectables with a slin pin. I feel absolutely way better than the previous 5 1/2 months. Energy is elevated, mood elevated. I am a firm believer in injectable B12. Throw the rest away. I loaded my system with 1ml every day for 7 days then 2x a week there after.

Thanks for sharing this! I looked into ordering injectables but didn't know which brand to trust and what dosage to buy. I looked at Trim Nutrition but their reviews look made up and they never respond to emails. Can you please share the brand and dosage you're using? And if you don't mind, also, where you got them from and for how much? I'm 11 days post-op and I have no energy! I'm sleeping most of the day; other than being at work. It's terrible. I'd really appreciate any information you can share. Thanks!

Go to your pcp. Anything you order off the internet will be a scam unless you order it from a reliable source. Same as HCG. I just went to my pcp and told him what I wanted and he wrote me up. Your local feedstore may have it also. We used to that B12 for our horses and cows when I was young. Vet grade and human grade are the same. Just Vet grade are usually in bulk lol

I'm wondering what they actually gave you so I can buy it on my own. I do not have insurance.

I'm.wondering why do I have to inject

Absorption varies greatly from

Injection- Up to 90%

Liquid Close to 40 and up to 55%

oral Close to 33 and up to 40%

Why do drug users prefer to inject over oral? Same principal better benefit from the product

My numbers are alittle wrong but not much. When I studied Bioavailability of absorption 12 years ago I saw the chart but this is close enough to what I remember.

Question: I haven't seen anyone weigh in on the SL spray version of B12? I'm having surgery this week, and was thinking it might be a workable solution for me... I am not good at taking meds, period, so this is a whole new world for me!!

My physician sent me home with a prescription for the nose spray on my first visit. It is pricy but the company offers a coupon (which my surgeon supplied with the script) that ensures your out-of-pocket cost won't exceed $25 for a one-month supply. The coupon is good for three uses which will carry you through the first three months post-op. The great thing is that this product has one of the highest absorbsion rates available and you only use once a week with one spray in one nostril. No shots. No pills. No yucky tasting liquid. Do some research and see if you might want to consider this as an option for you.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
