Candyman 38 Posted May 27, 2012 I made it home last night not knowing what my wife was going to do. Well, it was OK. She didn't want to talk and I think that was for the best. For the time I'm off the road (I'm a truck driver) I'm just going to be a good husband and let her talk when she is ready. Ok, back to me. So I'm day 4 and I feel great. Yes, I'm going to have to learn about my sleeve. She is vary unforgiving.( And yes, she is most definitely a she. ) I'm going to have to learning all over how to eat. For now just little sips of Water and let the Jello dissolve before you swallow and take one pill at a time of my meds. Nothing big just little things like that. I just want to say one more thing. Boy em I glad that I did this. I'm finely an official Sleever. And Trish and Dr Ponce were great. I even got Trish to join Skype. Send me a message if you want her user name. Or ask her a Facebook.< /p> 1 sdb1147 reacted to this
sdb1147 54 Posted May 27, 2012 Good for you Candyman. Hope your recovery goes well and your problems are small. Wonder why your wife doesn't support you. Hope that changes as everything from now on (post surgery) is a new step towards a better and healthier YOU. God bless & good luck.
ForMyfamily 84 Posted May 27, 2012 Glad everything with the surgery went fine. I hope your wife comes around for the support as this is a very important part. Just being on this forum will help for support and information. Seems you are tolerating the surgery very well which is great. This is a start of a new lifestyle and I am sure she will warm up to your changes soon.
